Since its founding in 1974, the Fund for Constitutional Government and its Board of Directors have shared the belief that this country's leaders and decision makers should be held to the principles and standards set forth in the Constitution.
While the roots of FCG lie in an era of pervasive government corruption, the practices which threaten the constitutional rights of United States citizens persist. Today, through research, public education, and, when necessary, litigation, FCG continues to dedicate itself to the exposure and correction of corruption in the government.
The Fund for Constitutional Government champions the principles of the Constitution and the rights of our citizens through multiple forums: by offering educational symposiums on timely topics of interest, publishing specialreports, working collaboratively with other organizations to educate the public about the Constitution, their rights under it, and the threats to those rights, and by supporting a network of projects.
The work of FCG is focused on, but not limited to, the federal government. The Fund for Constitutional Government seeks to expose instances of corruption which have a large public impact, have a precedent-setting value, and which, if rectified, will aid in preserving an open and accountable government.
